I can't believe I have been married to this hooligan for 2 years. It's been the fastest two years.
Let's be real, it definitely wasn't love at first sight for us. Our first date he brought me to Logan to go ice blocking with his buddies. I thought I was out of control until I met this feller. He put me to shame.
We had a few awkward encounters before things actually fell together for us. Like our third date he left me at his buddies house while he went to the hospital for kidney stones.... No one bothered to tell me he was even leaving till he was gone.
We ran into each other at Olive Garden once while we were both on a date, and our tables ended up being right close to each other. Those were the days. We have had several people tell us that there are multiple people out there for everyone.. except us. Were like two peas in a pod.
Anyways, for our two year anniversary we decided to go on a little vaca to St. George and pay a visit to those awesome shopping outlets down there. We invited my parents to go with us so that we could have a babysitter. They were pretty good sports to actually agree to it. So, on Saturday Trev and I got to spend the whole day together, just us two. We went to go to the Temple, but long story short my temple recommend was already expired and we didn't notice it till we got there. So, we went to lunch then went and did some shopping. It was so weird to not have Brecklyn with us, even though she was still the center of our conversation all day. I'm not going to lie I kinda struggled with leaving her, but what mom doesn't.
Afterwards, we went and got the little one and did some swimming. Brecklyn was a little fishy, she loved the water.
As soon as her feet hit the water they didn't stop kicking till we got out. Best part was, she slept like a log that night.
We stopped at the best steak house in Cedar City and my dad gave up a whole plate of hot food to feed Breckie. Such a sweetie.
Sunday we let the grandparents babysit and we went to Mesquite. Half way there I realized I forgot my ID. So, I walked the casino pushing the "Cash out" button on the slot machines that people forgot.
Collected .13 cents. Not to shabby. Good way to end the trip I guess.
