9 Months

It's crazy to think that this little girl has been out of my belly longer then she was in it.
9 months goes by a heck of a lot quicker not being pregnant.

She is crazy as ever!
I have no idea where she would possibly get that from.

She is discovering other little kids, and loves them.
She can go from her belly to her feet in .2 seconds.
She can tell you what a monkey says.
She doesn't have a shy bone in her.
She copies every little thing we do.
She says "Dada" and "Uh Oh"

She has said "Mama" once. I'm convinced she thinks it's a game.
I'll ask her to say "Mama" and she immediately replies with "Dada"...
and then laughs.

It's getting to be so hard to get monthly pictures of her. She doesn't hold still longer then 2 seconds. By the time I sit her on the floor and grab my camera is has already stood up and walked away. She's a quick one.

She tipping the scales at 18lbs.
She's in the 50th percentile for weight,
40th for her height,
and 70th for her noggin.
So in other words, she's top heavy.
No wonder I always have to cut her shirts to get them over her head.

I seriously can't wait for Christmas this year.
She loves all the Christmas lights.
We drove through Layton park and she hung out the window squealing at all the lights and when we got to the end she actually started crying. So, needless to say we went back through again.

She is totally an outside child. She doesn't care if it's freezing cold she still wants to go out and play.

Apparently this Santa was really creepy and she hated him.
He even just waived to her and she started screaming.
Drama. Queen.

Aunt Mimi came home for Christmas!!!
Bee wasn't to sure what to think,
but they will be BFF's before she leaves.

This chick is going to be so confused on what her name really is.
I think everyone calls her something different.
Trevor has a new name her weekly, I swear, but the usuals are Salamander and Sister. He comes up with some pretty funny ones.
I call her Bee, cause those her initials, Brecklyn Edyth Eschler.
Grandpa and Grandma Eschler call her Wrigley. That one explains itself.
Granny and papa call her Lou and Baby girl.
And even the little 3 year old boy that I watch has a nick name for her. He calls her Breckie.
She's going to have no idea what her name actually is.

8 months and on the go

This chick is the freaking energizer bunny these days.
She just keeps going....
And going.....
And going.....

I can't complain though, she is quite the entertainment now that she is walking.
Yes, full on walking at 8 Months.
I was caught off guard by that to.

She cruises like it's no big deal.
Don't mind that she isn't dressed.
This chick would be naked 24/7 if I'd let her.

It's so crazy.
Everyone always says how short she is when she takes off walking until I tell them that she is only 8 months.
That explains it.

According to our scale she is barely 18 lbs.
We will find out her exact weight at the Doctors in a few weeks.

She is still a FANTASTIC sleeper.
Seriously, I don't know how we got blessed with that nice little trait.
I couldn't tell you the last time I got up in the middle of the night with her.

If we were guaranteed that our next kid would be as easy going as Brecklyn is i would be having another one right now.
Yes Trevor it's true. Now get back up in your chair after reading that one. :)

She has never been the fussy, no sleep, cranky type of baby.
Although, she is very, VERY busy.

She has discovered how to shake her booty.

She find herself hilarious.
Church is so entertaining with her.
She will be in her own world playing and once they start playing a song she busts out dancing.
Anytime she hears music she has to stop and dance.

She has a huge fear of animals.
Which is fine with us since we both hate animals.
Although, my mom would say differently.
I was always the kid bringing home all the stray animals that I found on my way home from school.
So glad that won't be Brecklyn.

She tore apart pretty much every DVD we own and as she picked up the Little Rascals case she saw a huge dog on the cover.  It brought her to tears every time she looked at it.

She loves to play peek-a-boo.

She discovered the light switch in her bedroom.
I thought she was taking a nap one afternoon till I saw lights flickering in her room...

She finally has enough hair for a pony tail
You see that little thing??

She is such a water baby that we enrolled her in swimming lessons.
She LOVES them.
Every time we walk through the door to the swimming pool she starts squealing.

She helps herself to anything these days.

We went to the zoo lights the other night with a group of friends and she saw Santa.
She didn't mind him until he started tickling her feet and gettin' all up in her grill, then she lost it.

I was telling Trevor the other day how much Brecklyn is starting to act like us. Trevor will tackle me down and start to wrestle and Brecklyn just smiles from ear to ear... Then we go after her and she can't even contain herself. I watch a little 3 year old boy during the day and literally Brecklyn will tackle him down for his food. The other day she practically body slammed him and then attempted to take his PP&J sandwich. She is such good entertainment these days.

7 months

When Brecklyn was born everyone told me
"Enjoy every second because they grow up fast."
They weren't a kidding.
I feel like I don't even have a baby anymore.
As I am typing this she is walkin around the frame of our bed growling (Those are her new tricks)

She has mastered cruising along furniture and walls.
She gets away faster then a fat kid chasing the ice cream truck these days. Just the other day she took a few steps completely on her own. I wasn't sure to panic because my life was about to become way more chaotic then it already is or cry because she is getting way to big.  Her balance is incredible.

Last night I was in her room picking up toys and putting clothes away and she was playing on the floor (or at least I thought she was) when she pulled herself up on the side of her crib, walked along that and the wall and out the door she went... ohhhhh she's the busiest little girl I know. Some nights I put her to bed and go to bed right after her thinking "I definitely earned my right to be in bed by 9 o'clock right now."

Although, the bigger she gets the more her big personality comes out. She is definitely not afraid to entertain a crowd. She's hit the stage where she mimics us. We have screaming, growling, and smacking lips (as in after you just put on lipstick) battles frequently.

She has also hit the stage of separation anxiety, I leave the room and she screams bloody murder. So, to nip that in the butt my parents come up on Tuesdays and take her. My dad calls it her "Therapy session."

She still isn't much of an eater, especially if it's baby food. She could care less for that stuff. It isn't like she's a picky eater and throws a fit she just doesn't have any interest in it. She pretty much just eats what were eating. She had mac n' cheese the other day that she loved. Trev also brought home some coconut rice that she was shoveling into her mouth by the handfuls. She does pretty well with feeding herself. It gets messy, but she accomplishes it.

She started saying "Dada." It's seriously the cutest thing. She doesn't really associate Trevor with being "dada" she just babbles it all day. It's so cute though, Trev just eats it up.

Now for picture overload....

This face kills me.....she was so excited over this toy.

6 MONTHS: Better late then never.

This little girl melts my heart the older she gets.
I love her hilarious personality she's getting.
She's such an entertainer.

I've never met a 6 month old that is so hyperactive.
Then again, I didn't know Trevor when he was her age.
I'm pretty sure she gets it from him.
I'm doomed...

She definitely keeps us on our toes.
She is VERY BUSY!!!

This past month she has caught onto so many new things.

She loves holding on to our fingers and walking.

She's so close to crawling. She will be sitting on the ground playing with toys and flip over onto her hands and knees, but after that she isn't real sure what to.

She learned to wave. It is seriously the cutest thing ever.
When Trevor leaves for work she'll wave to him as he walks out the door.

She is getting so good with her balance. She stands up along the couch and everything else she can reach. She use to love her jumper, but now she wont sit in it and play she wants to be on the outside standing and playing with the toys.

It's about time she's potty trained right? Ha, if only.

She absolutely hates cats and dogs, just like her parents. My sister was in town this past week and brought her dog. Mind you it was a little taco bell dog not like it was a great dane or anything and Breck freaked every time she saw it. We also went over to our friend Brandon and Caitlin's house the other night and Breck was all smiles until she made eye contact with the cat. She was on edge the rest of the night...

SHE NO LONGER HAS BOTTLES!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP.
Once I Introduced her to a sippy cup she took right to it and refused to  have a bottle. I love it!! The bottles were really hard for her to hold herself, but with a sippy the handles were much easier  cause of course she wouldn't let anyone else hold it for her. She is a very independent little girl.

She's not much of an eater. All the chunky rolls are deceiving.
She does like to eat the pouches of food, but she doesn't dig the spoon.
We try to give her all kinds of crap, but she doesn't really care for it. Who has time to eat when there are things that need to be destroyed, right?

She weighs 16lbs.
Still wears all her 0-3 months clothes.
This is a 6 months shirt I put on her a few weeks ago...

This my friends is what we call a MASSIVE BLOWOUT!
When it comes out the top of the sleeve and down to her elbow. I'm not even mad, that's pure talent right there.

She has already learned to take advantage of me.
While we were browsing walmart one day she started to get fussy so, I picked up this doll to entertain her till I finished shopping. Once we got to the checkout counter I went to put it back and we enter melt down central. Needless to say the doll ended up coming home with us. She wouldn't even let me take it to put it in the trunk. She held it in the box all the way home.
Trev thought I was crazy when we walked in the door and Breck was asleep in her carseat with a death grip on this doll in the box.

It's pretty cute though.
She feeds it a bottle and then she'll put the bottle in her mouth like she's drinking it.

She was waiting patiently for daddy to wake up one morning.

These past 6 months have honestly been the greatest but also the hardest yet. I always judged stay at home moms thinking "What on earth do you do with yourself all day?" Well, now I know. I work harder now then I did working full time in a salon where I stood on my feet for 8+ hours straight. At least it was only 8 hours and then had a break. Being a mom there is no break. We do dishes and laundry for what seem like for a small army. We spend hours cleaning only to have a little person right behind destroying it. It's one of the hardest jobs, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

As sad as it makes me to see Breck getting so big
I LOVE IT!!!

She's finally big enough where these two can play together and entertain each other while I sit back and drink a Diet Coke.
Ha yeah right, but seriously.

Even though Breck gets pissed when he gets snacks and she doesn't  get any and it's battle of stealing the toys all day. But, It's so nice.

They're pretty much BFF'S

I love that she's big enough to sit in the cart and high chairs when we got out.
No more knocking over shelves and trying to navigate with the giant carseat blocking my view.

We went to Swiss Days and GG bought her a crown.
And she actually wore it all day.

She scrunches her nose ALL THE TIME.
We call it her middle linebacker face.

She loves Mickey Mouse.

She still isn't much of a solid food eater.
She does like her cereal, Avocados, and best of all Ice Cream. Wonder where she gets that from??

When she falls asleep she always has to hold my hand. So, after she's down she grabs the slates of the crib to hold on to.

She has started using a sippy cup.
I thought it would take her some practice to catch onto, but she can hold it herself and chugs it down.
Worked like a champ!

She has the cutest personality that
always keeps us laughing.

Every time we go out in public everyone always
comments on how happy she is.
She sits there and just beams smiles at everyone.
Or in this case acts like a gangster.

5 MONTHS

I'm going to try and keep this thing updated more then once a month now that Aunt Mimi is living in Chicago and doesn't get to see much of Brecklyn. But lets be real, who honestly has time to blog everyday. I know this mama sure doesn't, but we'll attempt it.

This little chick keeps us on our toes these days.
She's growing like a freakin weed.
She was not happy about doing her 5 Month pictures.
I swear she can detect cameras and instantly go into grump mode when I take her picture.

I think it's safe to say she has conquered the sitting thing.
For the most part she can sit and play with toys and does really well with keeping her balance.

We took her camping for the first time.
She loved it.

Trevor, Broc and Adam built their own "Refrigerator" in the river to put their dews in. Boys.

She got her ears pierced.
I do have to say she looks adorable with them.

She has a love hate relationship with solid food.
Ond day she loves it, others all she wants is a bottle.
She loves to suck on whole carrots, celery and cucumbers but she wont eat anything mushed up.

Her favorite place to be.
In her saucer + outside = heaven.

She gets so excited waiting for the tub to fill up.
I know, I'm mean.
I make her watch it fill up just because it's so funny to see how excited she gets.
She loves the tub.

She laughs like a maniac.
The best is when we are driving and she just busts out laughing like a crazy person.
