21 Weeks, baby girls crib, first outfits, and baby gadgets.

How far along: 21 weeks 6 days.
Total weight gain: At my 20 week appointment I had officially hit the 6lb mark. Although, I feel like I have put on 20lbs. I'm just waiting for that awful day when I step on the scale and it flashes ERROR at me. It's bound to happen one of these days.
Maternity Clothes: Gotta love them stretchy pants! It seems like my belly started to really pop out this past week. I felt like my belly popped out super early like around 15 weeks. I was worried that I started showing that early I would be GIGANTO by the end, but it just kinda hung out until this past week when it really decided to pop out. My regular jeans are starting to get snugger and snugger by the day.
Food cravings: Food is weird these days. I've never been a picky eater, but nothing ever sounds good lately. And food that I usually hate is all I eat these days. My mom use to always try and get us to eat oatmeal when I was little and it was the nastiest thing ever, but now that's all I end up eating.
Movement: This little girl moves around all the time and it still kind of trips me out. She likes to kick me in the gut at the most inconvenient times. I think she stretches out side to side a lot or does something because she can make my belly button go Asian. It's kind of painful when she does it, but seriously seeing an Asian belly button is pretty funny. It makes me giggle.

Now time for all the gadgets we've purchased for baby girl. Girls are so much fun to shop for. We ordered her crib, received it, and already put it together in her room. We're kind of anxious.I also have a friend that is making all of her bedding, as soon as I can decide how I want to do her room. I didn't get the matching changing table in the picture even though I love it, but it only has shelfs and she needed more of a dresser.

So, we got her this changing table/dresser, but it's taking forever to get here.

We also got her a stroller. I didn't know baby gadgets were so high tech. I thought a stroller was a stroller and a crib was a crib. End of story. I didn't know each one did so many different things. This stroller is freaking amazing though. The seat of it switches around for when they are infants so we don't have to lug around the carseat with the stroller. Although, we can snap a carseat on to it if we wanted to.

And then it flips back around for when she gets bigger. It's also a jogging stroller. There is a button on the handle bar that adjusts to 4 different heights so when your running with it your not running right on top of it. Pretty snazzy huh?

This little girls closet is already starting to fill up QUICKLY! Girls are just to much to shop for. Although, trying to shop in Logan is a bit of a joke. The only place to shop is really Wal-Mart. Someone needs to protest for a Target in Logan, but that's a subject for another day. I have nothing against Wal-Mart. I love getting me some good bargains any day, but the baby section is pretty awful. I'm not a huge fan of dressing my kid in the clothes that are covered with monkeys and say's some corny saying like "Just monkeying around." Baby girl has more style then that. So, a lot of shopping is done online and then I patiently wait for a package to appear on my front door step. Those bins also have clothes in them I just ran out of hangers to hang them up.

I'm pretty obsessed with zebra if you don't already know that or couldn't tell from her closet, but I couldn't resist these adorable little things. I probably paid way to much for saying by the time she will fit into them she won't even be walking, but what the heck I love them. She also got her first pair of skinny jeans to go with them. She is gonna be such a cutie.

I wouldn't be surprised if this little baby came out as a boy just because I'm having way to much fun buying boots, dresses, and everything else that's pink and frilly.

Trev and I registered for our classes for next semester. He is taking 13 credits. I'm registering for 14 credits and some how we're going to have a baby right in middle of the semester.... Hopefully some how we won't loose our mind.

BABY ESCHLER IS A.......

IT'S A GIRL!

I felt like this day would never come!! We decided instead of having the doctor tell us what it is we wanted to do something a bit more special. They wrote the sex of the baby on the ultrasound and then sealed it in an envelope. We then got all of our family together to go to dinner that night where we opened it. We thought this was the perfect idea, but didn't quite think it all the way through. Our appointment was at 9:00 in the morning and we weren't going to dinner until 6:00 that night. It was so hard not to peek and probably one of the longest days of my life. But we made it all day without peeking surprisingly!!

This is the video of us opening the envelope. So much suspense!!

After we opened the envelope both grandmas handed us gifts. My mom gave us cute little pink crocheted booties and my mother-in-law gave us cute little pink zebra booties. I was so confused how they knew to give us girl stuff and not boy. So, I turned to Trevor to blame him for peeking and spilling the beans and then both grandmas pulled out gifts that were wrapped in blue. They were prepared for both genders. Silly grandmas.

Our ultrasound took an hour. It was pretty cool just to be able to watch her do her thing inside my belly. It's so weird to actually refer to "it" as a girl now. She is definitely a stubborn little chica. I wonder where she could possibly get that from. Every time they tried to get a face shot she would turn her back on us, like so.

She eventually let us get one kinda good face shot. The rippling thing across her face is the umbilical cord just chillin across her nose and she has her hand up on her head. When they first pulled her up on the T.V. she had her hands tucked behind her head just chillaxin in there.

We're so excited for this cute little girl. Let the purchasing begin!!
