As sad as it makes me to see Breck getting so big
I LOVE IT!!!

She's finally big enough where these two can play together and entertain each other while I sit back and drink a Diet Coke.
Ha yeah right, but seriously.

Even though Breck gets pissed when he gets snacks and she doesn't  get any and it's battle of stealing the toys all day. But, It's so nice.

They're pretty much BFF'S

I love that she's big enough to sit in the cart and high chairs when we got out.
No more knocking over shelves and trying to navigate with the giant carseat blocking my view.

We went to Swiss Days and GG bought her a crown.
And she actually wore it all day.

She scrunches her nose ALL THE TIME.
We call it her middle linebacker face.

She loves Mickey Mouse.

She still isn't much of a solid food eater.
She does like her cereal, Avocados, and best of all Ice Cream. Wonder where she gets that from??

When she falls asleep she always has to hold my hand. So, after she's down she grabs the slates of the crib to hold on to.

She has started using a sippy cup.
I thought it would take her some practice to catch onto, but she can hold it herself and chugs it down.
Worked like a champ!

She has the cutest personality that
always keeps us laughing.

Every time we go out in public everyone always
comments on how happy she is.
She sits there and just beams smiles at everyone.
Or in this case acts like a gangster.

5 MONTHS

I'm going to try and keep this thing updated more then once a month now that Aunt Mimi is living in Chicago and doesn't get to see much of Brecklyn. But lets be real, who honestly has time to blog everyday. I know this mama sure doesn't, but we'll attempt it.

This little chick keeps us on our toes these days.
She's growing like a freakin weed.
She was not happy about doing her 5 Month pictures.
I swear she can detect cameras and instantly go into grump mode when I take her picture.

I think it's safe to say she has conquered the sitting thing.
For the most part she can sit and play with toys and does really well with keeping her balance.

We took her camping for the first time.
She loved it.

Trevor, Broc and Adam built their own "Refrigerator" in the river to put their dews in. Boys.

She got her ears pierced.
I do have to say she looks adorable with them.

She has a love hate relationship with solid food.
Ond day she loves it, others all she wants is a bottle.
She loves to suck on whole carrots, celery and cucumbers but she wont eat anything mushed up.

Her favorite place to be.
In her saucer + outside = heaven.

She gets so excited waiting for the tub to fill up.
I know, I'm mean.
I make her watch it fill up just because it's so funny to see how excited she gets.
She loves the tub.

She laughs like a maniac.
The best is when we are driving and she just busts out laughing like a crazy person.

Four Months

Weight: We just had her 4 month check up and she was tipping the scales at 14lbs.

Sleep: She still sleeps like a log at night, a good 12 hours straight. There's no complaining there.

Clothes: She still wears her 0-3 months clothes. I've busted out some 6 months ones only because they are summer clothes and will be out of season by the time they actually fit her well.

Loves: She loves listening to stories on our phones.

She loves the LeapFrog Phonics cartoons.

She loves books.

She loves swimming in her pool.

She also LOVES being outside.

She is such a little social butterfly. We can see her crazy personality coming out (wonder where she got that from).  She will talk and beam smiles at anyone or anything that looks her direction.

Milestones: She's tumbling around like it's nobodies business getting those little hands on everything possible. She has discovered how to take her bink out   and then sometimes she puts it right back in her mouth. It's hilarious watching her do this. It takes pure concentration. She does pretty well sitting up, until something shiny catches her eye or she reaches for a toy then she tumbles over. The doctor told us she is hitting all her 6 month milestones already. It's kind of a bitter sweet feeling. The older she gets the funner she becomes, but I just want her to stay little a bit longer.

On The Move

Brecklyn is officially on the move.

She finally learned how to roll all over now.
She has been able to roll from her tummy to her back for awhile now, but once she got to her back she was stuck. Now she's conquered it all.

Of course the first time she did it no one was looking. We laid her down on a blanket to play on the floor and turned our backs to her only to turn back around to find her in the middle of the living room getting her little hands on everything possible.

I didn't think I would have to baby proof the house for a 3 month old. I swear she is to little to be this active.
Heaven helps us when she gets older,
she's going to be like the energizer bunny that never stops.

She's constantly wanting to up where she can see everything

Brecklyn and Holden (the little boy I watch) are pretty much BFF'S. They like to play their Mickey Mouse game on the Ipad together. As you can tell Brecklyn is so entertained by it. They both sit and laugh at it.

Tell she gets her bum stuck in the chair.....
Wish that was still cute when it happens to me.

She fell asleep like this completely on her own....

I always told myself I would never be one of those moms that pinned a pacifier to my kids shirt. That is until my kid learned to pull it out of her mouth and throw it out of her crib 15 times a night. Requiring me to get up and slide under her crib to retrieve them all...
There's a strict rule that she's not allowed out of her crib with it pinned to her shirt. That's how bad I hate it.

And to end with a big smile.
She thinks everyone is hilarious these days.

3 Months? Where has the time gone?

I can't believe this little lady is 3 months old. I think I say that each month but seriously, these past 3 months have been the fastest 3 months and time just keeps flying by.

It seems like past few weeks Breckie has all of a sudden developed into her own little person. Somehow she went from being a little baby to this girl with a huge personality. She is constantly beaming with smiles and giggles.

Loves:  Lately she has been into cartoons especially this Leap Frog Phonics show. It's so obnoxious, but it's eye catching to her I guess.  Of course there is only one episode of it on Netflix so we end up watching the same episode over... and over... and over..... but she still giggles at it every time. Her new obsession is her saucer. This thing creates a good 30 minutes of pure entertainment at a time.

She loves this thing. We went to dinner at my cousin Kim's house and her little boy had one that she played in forever. So of course Grandma Crazy tracked her down one. This little girl not only has her mom and dad wrapped around her fingers she has both sets of Grandparents, aunts and uncle wrapped around them to.

I was impressed at how well she reached out and grabbed onto the toys. It was like she knew exactly what to do with it.

She has become such a chatterbox. She'll talk to anyone or anything that will listen.

She has such an odd sense of humor. She can be in full out melt down mode and we can say "You wanna go stick your head in the toilet" and she will bust out in giggles. My dad started that one. It must be the tone of voice we say it in that she finds funny.

Sleep: Still loves her sleep and so does mama. She goes to bed at 9:00 and I mean 9:00 sharp. Doesn't matter where she is at or what she is doing she'll just pass out and doesn't make a peep till 9:00 the next morning. It's sooooo nice. I can't complain.

Meet my teething baby!! Even with her teeth bothering her she still sleeps like a champ.... at night that is.. during the day is a different story....

Now for picture overload...

A few hours old to 3 months old and not much has changed... except she got pasty. She loves that tongue. (Looks like she has a big comb over cause she moved)

The swing put her right to sleep.

She has been into taking her bink out of her mouth (as you can see she's holding it) and then crying cause she wants it.... It's a vicious circle.

Little Anniversary Trip

I can't believe I have been married to this hooligan for 2 years. It's been the fastest two years.

Let's be real, it definitely wasn't love at first sight for us. Our first date he brought me to Logan to go ice blocking with his buddies. I thought I was out of control until I met this feller. He put me to shame.

We had a few awkward encounters before things actually fell together for us. Like our third date he left me at his buddies house while he went to the hospital for kidney stones.... No one bothered to tell me he was even leaving till he was gone.
We ran into each other at Olive Garden once while we were both on a date, and our tables ended up being right close to each other. Those were the days. We have had several people tell us that there are multiple people out there for everyone.. except us. Were like two peas in a pod.

Anyways, for our two year anniversary we decided to go on a little vaca to St. George and pay a visit to those awesome shopping outlets down there. We invited my parents to go with us so that we could have a babysitter. They were pretty good sports to actually agree to it. So, on Saturday Trev and I got to spend the whole day together, just us two. We went to go to the Temple, but long story short my temple recommend was already expired and we didn't notice it till we got there. So, we went to lunch then went and did some shopping. It was so weird to not have Brecklyn with us, even though she was still the center of our conversation all day. I'm not going to lie I kinda struggled with leaving her, but what mom doesn't.

Afterwards, we went and got the little one and did some swimming. Brecklyn was a little fishy, she loved the water.

As soon as her feet hit the water they didn't stop kicking till we got out. Best part was, she slept like a log that night.

We stopped at the best steak house in Cedar City and my dad gave up a whole plate of hot food to feed Breckie. Such a sweetie.

Sunday we let the grandparents babysit and we went to Mesquite. Half way there I realized I forgot my ID. So, I walked the casino pushing the "Cash out" button on the slot machines that people forgot.

Collected .13 cents. Not to shabby. Good way to end the trip I guess.
